Facilitation, Teambuilding & Process Support

Supporting groups & teams in communication and change processes

Together – structured – efficient

The most important resource of any team or group is successful cooperation. If the group/team works well together, a power and energy is created that far exceeds the potential of the individuals. Conversely, no group member can develop her or his full potential if there is a problem in the common work flow.

Group processes and dynamics are exciting and enriching. But sometimes they can also be challenging and conflict-ridden. Facilitation reveals and unfolds untapped potential.

In everyday collaboration, “work” often comes first and “together” second. This means that decisive opportunities remain unused. Things that tend to take a back seat in hectic everyday life need to be brought to the fore again and again. Professional facilitation ensures that everyone involved is equally visible and audible.

Facilitation focuses on the commonality of action.

Facilitation techniques ensure a structured way of working. Complex topics, tasks and challenges or conflicts are dealt with according to a clear dramaturgy. This allows the participants to relinquish responsibility for the process and dynamics and concentrate fully on the content in question.

Facilitation creates structure and concentration on the essentials.

Whether team or strategy development, decision-making or conflict resolution: Facilitated processes are shorter, more precise and more efficient. And the jointly developed results are more sustainable than solutions negotiated in everyday working life.

Facilitation promotes efficiency and ensures sustainable results.

This creates space for spontaneous impulses, changes of perspective, unconventional ideas and creative solutions – in short, for thinking outside the box.

What do I bring to the table

I am a certified facilitator, trained at artop – Institute at the Humboldt University in Berlin, and have many years of extensive experience in the conception and facilitation of workshops, events, conferences, discussions, courses and seminars.

For over 20 years, I have been working philosophically, cinematically and politically with forms of communality and collective processes. In addition to my background in philosophy and documentary film, I am familiar with queer-feminist and activist contexts, self-organized groups and the theory and practice of commons and commoning.

I consider mindfulness, improvisation skills and humor to be the most important tools in my work as facilitator. I bring the connection of heart, head and body into my work wherever possible. Impartiality and neutrality are a matter of course.

Fee

Many projects seeking guidance and support face financial challenges themselves. That is why I base my fees on the needs and possibilities of the people and groups who would like to be accompanied by me. Let’s find out how our ideas fit together in an initial consultation.
