“common|mean city” (“gemeine stadt”) – digital publication

Accompanying the event series “gemeine stadt – berlin gemeinsam gestalten” (“common city: creating berlin together”) is a multimedia online publication gemeine stadt.

Here, the topics discussed at the events are presented by artists, activists, scientists, journalists and others in their own formats and approaches.

In the first season, the chapters are dedicated to the topics of Street/Strasse, Assembly/Versammlung, Property/Eigentum, Environmental Justice/Umweltgerechtigkeit, Collectives/Kollektive and Welfare of Existence/Daseinsfürsorge (2021-2022).

The second season (2023) explored the subjects “Home” and Unrests/Unruhe(n).

After a break in 2024, the third season started in May 2025 with “Tension/Suspense”/Spannung.
